The UMKC School of Nursing website seemed a little stiff in its approach to attracting nursing students, or possibly very formal. The website talked about the history of the school with important dates also about the mission of the school which looked like a to do list. They also had a section that had a vision, values, and goals. The website was professional however it didn’t intrigue me into the university itself. On the other hand, the University of Rochester Medical Center URMC seemed more personal. It had a link that was under nursing recruitment called why choose Strong Nursing in which the actual hospital is part of the university itself. It gace actual statistics and facts that I think is more sound than opinions. It says something to mas a reader. This web page seemed more personal and attracted me as a reader.

I think it is important to keep in mind that students are reading these web pages and they often want to know what this school can do for them and how this school is better than others. What can you do for me approach.
I agree that as students we tend to think with the "what's in it for me" approach.
